Finding a Lifeline

When our family was struggling, NUC gave us more than just advice; they gave us a community. Their family support workers listened without judgement and helped us navigate the challenges of the last year. Now, we feel stronger and more connected to our neighbours in Milton than ever before.

The Difference We Make

Real stories from our North Glasgow community about finding support, building confidence, and growing together.

“

A Place to Belong

The wellbeing programmes at the Hub helped me find my voice. I was really shy and didn't want to engage with anyone, but the staff at NUC supported me to try new things. Starting the Arts and Growing projects gave me a reason to get out and talk to people my own age. I finally feel like I have a place where I really belong.

“

Growing Together

Volunteering with the community garden has changed how I see my neighbourhood. It's amazing what happens when we work together.

“

Brighter Summers

The holiday programmes are a godsend for my kids. Safe, fun, and healthy meals provided—it makes such a big difference.
