We are at the heart of North Glasgow, creating welcoming spaces where people can connect, grow, and take an active role in shaping the place they call home.
Established in 1992, North United Communities (NUC) has been a steadfast anchor in Wyndford/Maryhill, Ruchill, and Milton, north Glasgow. We began with a simple vision: to provide a safe, nurturing spaces where young people, families and communities could thrive.
Â
Over the decades, we have evolved into a holistic support and community development organisation, offering front-line multi-layered youth work, family support and child protection services, adult mental health and wellbeing programmes, and school holiday activity/food services that foster community engagement, resilience and growth.

More widely, we enable local people to take the lead in shaping their communities and influencing wider policy and decision‑making. We create the conditions for residents to organise, advocate, and bring their lived experience into the spaces where change happens.
